Joomla Developers (Unofficial) Handbook
September 25th, 2006
Following the great success of the UK Joomla Developers course, we are pleased to announce that the handbook that was created for the course is now available for purchase from our website.
The handbook has 46 pages of information on developing Joomla Components and was used as the basis of the two day training course. It covers topics from the beginning, how to start writing a component, to advanced issues like pagination. There are many How To sections (almost half the manual!) and many code examples for you to follow.

The manual is intended for those with some degree of PHP knowledge - it is not a beginners manual but written by a developer for developers. The handbook is a PDF version only and will not be shipped in physical format to you. (We are in negotiation with a publisher though!!!)
We will update the manual from time to time with new hints and tricks - and customers will get those updated versions for free!
“This manual, the developer’s course and Joomla Platform CD are provided by Blue Flame IT Ltd in an effort to educate PHP developers and encourage them to turn their hand to developing Joomla Components.
