Following my last post, and email to existing customers we received a few complaints, a few emails of support and a few very abusive emails…
Firstly the information has been clear on our site for sometime regarding our position on this, please take time to read the following articles:

I have made our position clear and tried to be as fair as I can, at the end of the day our components for Joomla 1.5 are new components, NOT UPGRADES, therefore you should not assume you would be able to get them for free.
Joomla 1.5 is NOT an upgrade of Joomla 1.0.x it is a complete rewrite – just like our components.
Now that I have pointed out our position I do not feel I need to keep repeating myself.

And clear sets out the rules regarding refunds, we do not give refunds because you ask for them. The wording is clear that we grant refunds if WE are unable to get our components working on your server – thats the only reason for a refund that we grant.
I can understand your frustration but in all these things we have publically published our intentions many months ago and this information was available to you prior to purchasing.
We believe we have been fair, honest and transparent in these things, and I, Phil Taylor, am sorry if you disagree with me, however I have sought advice on this over many months and this is the direction we are taking.
