VAT added to all purchases in line with the UK Law

May 21st, 2009

Following our return to trading through our UK company I am sorry to report that in line with UK law VAT will now be added to all transactions at the standard rate of 15% currently.  This will be applied to EU Countries only and will be added during your paypal checkout. USA Customers and non-EU Countries will not have to pay this extra tax :-)

  1. Hi,

Im quite dissapointed that you are going to charge the 15% vat i know its the law however you should reduce the price slightly for uk buyers in this hard times.

I do like this component and will probably buy it but its just the principle of the matter.

    Regards Mark

  2. Hi Mark.

Sorry to hear your thoughts, however, when we left the UK in 2007 we reduced prices as we moved out of the EU. Now we have returned I see no reason not to add VAT in line with the UK law as we are required to do so as our annual income exceeds the vat threshold.

Our prices are already rock bottom – and some of our competitors are charging well over £100 for less features!
    :-)

    Kindest regards
    Phil.

  3. Gidday Pal,
Just to confirm we have bought two modules this morning, If we were in the EU then this will be added to the price or is it inclusive.
Anyone who uses our online shop has their email address and IP logged to ensure that local GST here in oz is added or deducted.

Thanks we look forward to using the modules especially the mailer.

    Cheers
    Dave
By the way we are happy with the price. Even with the exchange rate being .48 its what the modules will do is the issue.

  4. Hi Dave
As you are in Oz, the price you see on our website is the price you will pay. EU customers will get the VAT @15% added when they checkout through paypal.
    Phil.
