Just a quick note to let you know mosKB 1.0.1 has just been released.  This release is to fix some small bugs relating to using mosKB on different platforms and in different configurations and contains no database changes.  You can read about the upgrade instructions in the FAQ on my site  

Hi Guys, well its been about 12 hours since the first people downloaded ad tested mosKB for the first time ad what a ride it has been!

Many people have enjoyed using the dynamic interface which is breaking new ground in Joomla Component development, others hate it ! I guess you cant please everyone.

Here is a tip for all you transistion haters: in kb.class.php change the line

define (’_disableAdminEffects’, 0);
to
define (’_disableAdminEffects’, 1); .

to disable the main effects!

There have been some bugs reported, most are already resolved and a new release will be announced tomorrow as a collection of bug fixes are applied. Please report any issues you have on the bug tracker at http://bugs.phil-taylor.com and they will be addressed.

Most of the problems at the moment are concerning different configurations of servers and I am working hard to resolve these. However I have now been awake for 26 hours solid working on mosKnowledgebase and I dont think I am going to be able to last much longer so Ill be going off to sleep for a while.

Oh, also the heating in my home and home office is broken - so sat here with 2 jumpers on COLD! hehe

Well you folks always say that I dont give strict deadlines on projects, well 2006 brings a new start and a new way of doing things.

mosKnowledgebase has quickly become the tool of choice for Joomla Administrators wanting to quickly put up a complete FAQ section on their website, however the first versions were incomplete and now it has been rewritten from scratch to take advantage as cool technologies like AJAX and patTemplates. Both of these have speeded the development time and also given some really great looking interfaces!
