As previously announced, I am now out of the office until 6th August.  The first week (Starting tomorrow) I am taking part in the Capita 9th International Yacht Race to La Trinite-sur-mer in France - 4 or 5 days continuous race at sea  :-)  the second week I am undertaking my RYA Day Skippers Certificate with Jersey Sailing School

We are now back from our holiday and returning to work - over a thousand emails to filter through, plus more forum posts and other incoming communications… Please be patient

Our trip was a good break away - however VENICE IS A DUMP, we were highly disappointed with Venice.  The place is nothing like the TV or Books portray and is infact nothing more than a graffiti plastered, rubbish strewn, smelling island in the middle of a lagoon with a massive industrial plant on one side and water on the other.  I would never recommend you go to Venice, unless you are a real lover of history and art - and never take a baby or wheelchair, see those lovely little bridges? well each one is actually a stepladder up and down again! steps, steps and more steps!!!

The hotel was the only thing that stopped us returning after a few days! The hotel room was a mini-suite and was simply amazing! (As was the local internet cafe!)

So back to work now - all systems go - but we ask for your patience if you have contacted us over the last week - we will get to your emails - promise!

Right now I am sat in a hotel near Stanstead Airport, the wife and baby are both asleep so Im taking two mins to update my blog.

We are on our way to Venice, for our first family holiday since Lela was born, our first real international holiday for almost 4 years.

We are looking for an Au-Pair!!! - Do you know any young person looking for a summer trip (or longer) on a beautiful island?

The main reasons for getting an au-pair is that I am now on call 24/7/365 for the lifeboat crew, and Trevena is starting a new full time job.

Well most of you know our cute girl, Lela-Mintaka, she is now 14 months old now!!! A little Jem, and so easy to look after!

We are looking for someone to live-in, all expenses paid plus £100 cash pocket money per week. (Obviously must be form an EU Country for work visa rules), also average English skills needed

Hours flexible, but aiming for 9-12 and 2-5 Mon - Fri with Evenings and weekends free.

3min walk to the beach! Where there is a play park and “duck feeding” and an ice cream truck year round!

Free Computer and Unlimited Internet Access in your own bedroom!

Would love au-pair to start 12th March or as soon as possible after, for as long as they want… no contracts or tie-in.

For the first time since our honeymoon we are going on a family holiday! The wife is soooo excited! - We will be going to Venice for a whole week!

We will have NO INTERNET from the 4th to the 11th of March 2008 which in Venice and therefore will not be replying to emails, or providing support/assistance during these dates.

Well here we are in sunny Jersey! The move was stressful with our removals company almost missing the ferry and the loss/theft of my mobile phone!

My Wife and I will be taking a trip to Venice to celebrate my 30th Birthday in March next year.  We are landing at Treviso airport and will travel to Venice by bus Having never been there and hearing that its very easy to get lost we are very excited!
